Childcare Costs & CCS

Understanding Fees, Inclusions, and Government Support

At Brightly Early Learning, we make it simple to understand your investment in high-quality education and care. Many families are eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), helping make childcare more affordable for everyone.

What Affects Childcare Costs?

  • Your child's age – Care for younger children may cost more due to smaller educator-to-child ratios
  • Number of days and hours attended each week
  • Eligibility for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Use the CCS Calculator on Services Australia to estimate your family's weekly out-of-pocket costs.

What's Included in Your Daily Fee?

  • Healthy meals and snacks – Freshly prepared onsite and tailored to children's nutritional needs
  • Nappies provided – Convenience for families and comfort for children
  • Bright Pathway Curriculum – A research-based approach supporting early development and school readiness
  • Play-based learning – Encouraging creativity, confidence, and problem-solving
  • Outdoor play & movement – Supporting healthy habits and physical development
  • Experienced, caring educators – Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment every day
  • Commitment to safety and quality – Supported by our dedicated national teams in education, safety, and compliance

Government Support

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

The CCS is financial support from the Australian Government paid directly to approved centres like Brightly, reducing your out-of-pocket fees. You simply pay the remaining "gap" fee after the subsidy is applied.

Your CCS percentage is based on:

  • Your family's combined income
  • Hours of work, study, training, or volunteering
  • The type of approved service your child attends

Check your eligibility and apply through MyGov to get started.
